It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Adkins of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Lucas Baltzegar and Fred Eugene Baltzegar; her sister Brenda Baltzegar Buffaloe (Eddie); and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hill, Robert Adkins and Callbie Wood.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Allen Adkins, Sr.; her children, Charles Allen Adkins Jr. (Linda) of Wilmington and Sarah Adkins Midkiff (L. E. "Kanöot") of Ukraine; her grandchildren, Charles A. Adkins III (Trey), Caroline Ann Adkins, Carson Alexander Adkins, L. E. Midkiff IV (Fisher) and Faith Elaine Midkiff; her sisters, Elaine Baltzegar Hill and Lou Ann Baltzegar Pittman (George); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Lewis (Gene), Jane Wood and Nancy Adkins.
