He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Anthony Tomlin, Joseph Antonio Tomlin, Joshua Tomlin and David Tomlin of Wilson; his siblings, Ida Stewart, Patricia Plunkett of Pennsylvania, Teresa Hicks of Baltimore, Shirley Tomlin of Wilson, David Speight of Wilson and Thurmon Edwards of Baltimore; his grandchildren, Janneccia Tomlin and Zymir Tomlin; and his friend Eddie Fulford.
