He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sutton; his daughters, Sherry Rouse (Robert) of Snow Hill and Lisa Fuller of Havelock; his grandchildren, Adam Smith (Meredith) of Winterville, Dillon Exum (Ashley) of Newport, Shawn Fuller of Newport and Shannon Smith (Sam) of Kenansville; his great grandchildren, Annison-Quinn Smith, Grayson Exum and Carsen Diaz; his brothers, Kenneth Sutton of Walstonburg, Carson Sutton of Walstonburg and Clint Sutton of Tarboro; his son Richard Tripp (Amy); and his grandsons, Wayne of Snow Hill and Daniel of Snow Hill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
