He is survived by: his wife Flora Smith; his children, Vivian Atkinson (Elder Anthony) of Wilson, NC, Dawn Woodard (Tracy) of Wilson, NC, Calvin Suggs (Cornelia) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Jimmie Suggs (Charlette) of Temple Hills, MD and Aaron Murdock Suggs; his grandchildren, Reggie (Jennifer), Nikki (Quentin), Anthony, Jr. (Laura), Tatiana, Aaron, Jr., Paislei, Cierra, Monique, Kandice, Ashley, Tharon and Tharius; his brothers, Henry Smith (Edna Earl) of Wilson, NC and Willie James Smith of Wilson, NC; his nieces, Ada Daniels (Clifton) of Stantonsburg and Mary Frederick of Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Artis of Temple Hills, MD, Ordred Pender (Dennis) of Clinton, MD and Selby Artis of Bowie, MD. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
