She was predeceased by: her husband James "Bud" Ethridge; and her parents, Charlie Sanders and Margaret Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Susan E. Joyner (Mel), Linda Gardner (late Peanut), Janie Strader and Mark Ethridge (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Christy McGovern (Jay), Emily Lucas (Adam), Heather Boykin, Anna Barnes (Hunter), Bailey Ethridge (Blake Ethridge), Clay Gardner and Caleb Ethridge; her great grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Reaves McGovern, Ruby Jean Belaj, Emma Bolt, Jacob Boykin, Weston Etheridge, Mary Hunter and Stella Barnes; and her great great grandchild Gracelynn Campbell.
A reception was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
