He was predeceased by: his former wife Flora Woodard; his sons, Leroy Woodard, Roscoe Woodard, Jr., Jerry Woodard and Anthony Woodard; his grandchildren, Travis Woodard and Melissa Hines; his parents, Marcellus Woodard and Adlona Fields Woodard; and his siblings, Mary Coley, Elizabeth Howell, Andrew Woodard, Calvin Woodard, James Woodard, Roosevelt Woodard, Brodie Williams, Tom Ray, Boy Woodard, Welch Williams and Thelma Heckstall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Woodard of Wilson, NC, Peggy Woodard of Wilson, NC and Patricia Joseph of Wilson, NC; his siblings, Marjorie Horne of Stantonsburg, NC, Annie Doris Davis of Eureka, NC, Loni Anderson of Wilson, NC and Donald Woodard of Wilson, NC; his aunt Deloris Harris of Fayetteville, NC; his daughters-in-law, Bettie Woodard, Cynthia Woodard, Yvonne Woodard and Shelia Woodard; his siblings-in-law, Alice Bobbitt, Inez Watson, Essie Evans, Sudie Woodard and Bobby Howell; and his close friend Mary Briggs of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
