She was predeceased by: her parents, John Redmond and Mattie Mae Griffin Bohne; her husband David Lee Abrams; and her siblings, Ernestine Carey and Herman Lee Bohne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Whitley (Albert) of Wilson, Sandra Abrams (Johnny) of Wilson, Deborah Pittman (Doug) of Wilson and Shelby Shearin (Jeff) of Thomasville; her brother Thurman Ray Bohne (Jean) of Wilson; and her grandchildren, Tyler Godwin, David Shearin, Kimberly Pittman and Tiffany Godwin. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
