He was predeceased by: his parents, Sallie Dale Walston White and James Edgar White; his siblings, James Edgar White Jr. and Patricia White Tillery Cotten; his nephew-in-law Johnny Walker; and his in-laws, Melvin and Peggy Tyndall.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Tyndall White; his daughter Jennifer Walston White Freeman (Kirk Lee Freeman); his grandsons, John Walston White Freeman and William Harrison Freeman of Raleigh; his siblings, Rebecca White Wells (Graham) and Donald Steven White (Sharon) of Wilson; his aunts, Appie Walston Bolton of Fayetteville, Bettie Hall Walston and Roxobel; and his pet Mia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
