He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Cherry and Jo Ann Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Cherry; his sons, Christopher Cherry and Dexter Cherry (Megan); his stepsons, Timothy Magee, Cody Morris (Journey Odom) and Clyde Morris III (Carrie Wilson Morris); and his grandchildren, Sophia Cherry, Easton Odom, Coy Morris and Claryssa Morris.
