We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023, at the age of 78, Robert Earl Scott of Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Earl Scott and Charlotte Metts Scott McArthur; and his stepfather Herman Matthew McArthur. He is survived by: his wife Jean Carol Scott; his children, Cheryl Dean Scott of Wilson, Derrick Matthew Scott of Wilson, Sharon DeLane Jones (Brian) of Pink Hill, Devron Allen Scott (Melissa) of Wilson and Sherry DeAnne Worrell (Jody) of Bailey; and his sisters, Pam Eubanks of Kinston and Gail Smith of Dudley. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
