He was predeceased by: his parents, Chick Phillips and Shirley Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Glenn Phillips; his daughters, Kim Phillips Ellis (Scott) and Kathleen Phillips Gibson (Carr); and his brothers, Paul Phillips (Mary) of Wilmington and David Phillips (Leslie) of Charlotte.
