He is survived by: his cousin James "Jimmy" Clark Gurkin (Paula) of Wilson; his close friend JoAnn Near; and also, Michele Castillo (John), Candice Woolard (Skeet), Sara, Tyler, Nathan, Syndee, Joshua, Clayton and Nelda Bardin.
