In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rebekah leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Rebekah may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Milton and Mattie Taylor Johnson Robinson; and her brother John Russell Robinson. She is survived by: her husband Clay Whisnant; her son Adam Errington Whisnant (Melissa) of Montevallo, AL; her grandson Roland Graham Whisnant; and her sister Martha Alice Robinson Thomas (Jeff) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to any wildlife or endangered animal fund of your choice.
