With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Etheridge (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Selby Anderson Etheridge, Sr. and Alma Wiggs Etheridge; his brothers, Selby A. Etheridge, Jr. of Wilson and Stanley A. Etheridge of Niceville, FL; his niece Roberta Gay Burchette of Okaloosa, FL; and his brother-in-law John R. Poe, Jr. of Chapel Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Rogers Etheridge; his children, Gena Ann Etheridge of Black Creek, Horace Ray Etheridge of Wilson and Maurice Anderson Etheridge of Wake Forest; his sister Rose Marie Etheridge of Chapel Hill; and his nieces and nephews, Wanda Jo Etheridge of Wilson, Debra Glen Larsen of St. George, UT, Dwaine David Etheridge of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Darren Keith Etheridge of Laurel Hill, FL. He is also survived by six great-nieces, four great-nephews, five great-great nieces, six great-great nephews, one great-great-great nephew and several cousins.
