He is survived by: his sons, Robert Godwin of Charlotte, Tyler Godwin (Megan) of Baltimore, MD and Chase Godwin (Kristina) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Spencer, Cooper, Colt, Kora, Sebastian and Archer Godwin; and his siblings, Ruthe Godwin Farmer of Wilson and Kenneth Godwin (Bonita) of Smithfield.
