With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nan Vanderford Taylor Owens of Wilson, North Carolina, born in Robersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard Vanderford and Gladys Taylor Vanderford; her husband Jimmy Lee Taylor; her grandson Brian David Elliott; and her brother William Howard Vanderford, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Karen Taylor Elliott (David) and Lee Taylor; her great grandchildren, Brianna Elliott and Joseph David Elliott (Ali Smith); her brothers, Wayne Vanderford (Joyce) and Eddie Vanderford (Joanie); and her sister-in-law Nancy Latham Vanderford. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
