She is survived by: her husband Edgar Pope of Wilson, NC; her children, Rick Davis (Suzanne) of Plano, TX and Shirley Davis of Wilson, NC; her stepdaughter Rubie Pope of Maryland; her godson Tony Graham of Wilson, NC; her siblings, Ruth Ray of Philadelphia, PA, William Barnes (Nancy) of Elm City, NC, Roscoe Barnes of Elm City, NC and Robert Lee Barnes (Ada) of Virginia; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Davis of Wilson, NC; her sister-in-law Christine Barnes Collins of Wilson, NC; and her close friends, Bishop Ernestine McGee, Sonya Ward and Sophia Hall. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
