It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minister Raymond L. Smith (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Curtis Smith, Sr. and Geneva Smith; and his siblings, Mercy Smith Chatman, Evangelist Mary Ellen Witherspoon and Dennis Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Ray Hinnant of Wilson, NC and Terrell Smith of Selma, NC; his grandchildren, Breanna Hinnant of Wilson, NC and Bobby Ray Hinnant, Jr. of Wilson, NC; his brothers, Elder Amos Curtis Smith, Jr. (Jeannette) of Wilson, NC, Larry Smith of Accokeek, MD, Donald Smith (LaShone) of Rocky Mount, NC, Kenneth Smith (Veronica) of Kenly, NC and Ronnie Smith (Beverly) of Silver Springs, MD; his aunt Mary Lee Smith of Fremont, NC; and his brother-in-law Dennis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
