She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Farmer and Ada Shelly; her son Albert Ray Lindsey; her granddaughter Tamara Lindsey; and her sisters, Barbara Johnson of Tarboro, NC, Arolla Johnson (Jesse) of Greensboro, NC, Catherine Farmer of Pinetops, NC and Louise Farmer of Wilson, NC.
She is survived by: her husband Reverend James T. Lindsey; her children, James T. Lindsey, Jr. (Tracie) of Wilson, NC and Chaurice L. Moore (Daryl) of Statonsburg, NC; her grandchildren, Tiara, Daryl, Bri'Ana, Deshawn (Zara) and Bianca; her great grandchildren, Braelynn, Taje, Chance, Xorri, Micah and Ryder; and her brothers, Authur Thigpen (Stella) of Greensboro, NC and Marvin Farmer of Edgecombe County. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
