She was predeceased by: her parents, Berdgis Simon and Annie Strickland; her husband Julian; and her siblings, Alton, Herbert, Bobby Lee, Carvin, Marvin, Odessa, Leigh, Paula and Crama.
She is survived by: her children, Julian Frank Leonard, Jr. of Bunn Lake, Dr. Cheryl M. Leonard and Dr. Debroah L. Leonard of Wilson; her granddaughter Kitty; her sister Margaret Ann Williams (Norwood); and her sisters-in-law, Janie Strickland (Carvin) and Jane Strickland (Herbert). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends who were her extended family.
