She was predeceased by: her parents, Ashley Simms and Annie Knight Simms; her siblings, James Simms, Leslie Simms and Ashley Simms, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Corrine Simms.
She is survived by: her son Reginald Simms (Brendina) of Newport News, VA; her grandsons, Brian Simms (Florestina) of Newport News, VA and Jonathan Simms (Adriene) of Loudoun County, VA; and her siblings, Trumiller Clark of Washington, DC and Curtis L. Simms (Brenda) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends including a special niece.
