He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Ezzell and Margaret Bass Ezzell; his stepmother Dorothy Ezzell; his brother Larry Ezzell; and his son Chad Ezzell.

He is survived by: his daughter Brandi Ezzell of Battleboro; his siblings, Kenneth Ezzell (Sandy) of Wilson and Sherrie Mercer (Lee) of Wilson; his granddaughters, Layla and Lizzie Jones; his nieces, Jessica Ferris (Michael), Andrea Ezzell and Brittany Vedia (Nick); and his nephew Ronnie Langley, Jr. (Brooke).
