She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie David and Helen Louise Jones Bridgers. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Comerford (Chris) of Bailey; her siblings, Kathy Williams of Edenton, Patty Carter (Ken) of Sunset Beach and Rodney Bridgers (Peggy) of Elm City; her grandchildren, Zoe and Rylee Comerford; and her aunt Dorothy "Peasy" Barnes of Elm City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
