He is survived by: his wife Susan Garner Liles; his daughters, Laura Best of Kenly and Kristin Studioso (Patrick) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Jacob Best (Kimmy), Josh Best (Morgan), Sydney Studioso and Nickolas Studioso; his great grandchildren, Hudson Best, Lillian Best and Delaney Best; his brothers, Sam Liles (Sue) of Sims and Tom Liles (Linda) of State Road; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Liles of Rock Ridge and L. A. Boyette of Kenly.
