It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mason Scott Bennett (Wilson, North Carolina), born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his cousin Niles Gengenbach. He is survived by: his parents, Barry Bennett and Lisa Bennett; his brother Lane of Walstonburg, NC; his grandparents, Greg, Ann Waites of Norman Park, GA, Debbie Waites of Adel, GA, Roy and Dawn Bennett of Meigs, GA; his great-grandparents, E. L. "Mann" Waites and Carolyn Waites of Norman Park, GA.; his aunts and uncles, Blake Bennett (Stephanie) of Americus, GA, Brandon Bennett (Paige) of Ashburn, GA, Shelby Johnson (Eric) of Odessa, TX and Jeanie Salter (Ray) of Sumner, GA; and his cousins, Zoe Dickson, Perry Bennett, Brayden Bock, Addison Bennett and Riley Bennett.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made in his honor to Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition in Wilson County, NC or to the Greene County Animal Shelter in Snow Hill, NC.
