She was predeceased by: her son Joey D. Owens; and her parents, James William and Geraldine Davis Corbett of Wilson County. She is survived by: her husband Bill Propst; her daughter Kim Propst of Havelock; and her siblings, Lynn Broadwell of Wilson and Jimmy Corbett (Sylvia) of Wilson.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
