She was predeceased by: her husband Nathan Allen Cunningham; and her siblings, Beatrice Barnhill, Peggy Lamm, Pasty James, Theodore Bass, Nathan Bass and Rand Bass.

She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea C. Etheridge (John) of Wilson, Jenette C. Bell (Benny) of Sims and Kay C. Joyner (Wayne) of Wilson; and her sister Larene B. Radford of Wilson. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
