She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Whitley and Myra Edmundson Whitley. She is survived by: her sister Jane Walston; her niece Jana Winders (Rick); her nephew John Walston (Melissa Hocutt); her great-niece Madison Winders; and her great-nephew Benjamin Winders of Wilson.
