He is survived by: his sons, Mark "Lewis" Speight, Jr. of Maury and Gearld Speight (Tracie) of Cooleemee; his grandsons, Jared and Jesse Speight; his sisters-in-law, Ann Speight of Wilson and Frances Speight of Aberdeen; and his friend Patricia Barnes of Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church (4403 London Church Rd, Elm City, NC 27822). Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
