He was predeceased by: his daughter Wanda Jenkins; his parents, Mark Jenkins and Etheline Jenkins; and his siblings, Mary Lou Johnson and Billy Ray Jenkins.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Austin Whaley of Bailey, Dylan Jenkins of Bailey, Cody Jenkins of Bailey and Blake Wells of Rocky Mount; his close friend Ellen Flynn of Wilson; and his friend David Buck McKeel of Black Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
