She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Green Saunders and Ida Pearl Bass Saunders; and her brother William Thomas Saunders. She is survived by: her daughter Angela Nicole Winstead; her grandchildren, Mia Velez, Brayden Winstead and Paris Blanchard; her brother Wayne Saunders (Margaret); her sister-in-law Debbie Saunders; her nieces and nephews, Christy Lynn Woodard, Tommy Saunders, Barry Saunders, Reba Etheridge, Lynn Taylor, Connie Ingram and Johnnie "Red Bone" Winstead; and her granddaughter Alicia Gomez.
