She is survived by: her son Bert Allsbrook; her siblings, Melissa Hester (Marshall Webb) of Stantonsburg, Susan Peele (Charles) of Asheville and Phil Hester (Karen) of California; her grandson Connor Allsbrook; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Peele, Alice McLaughlin, J. D. Langley, Chap Hester, Brian Woods, Allen Woods and Allen Peele.
