She was predeceased by: her parents, Jabo Roosevelt Locus and Elizabeth Batts; her children, Bobbie Earl Batts, Henry Jr. Batts (Buddy) and Larry Charles Batts (L. B.); and her sister Penny Locus.
She is survived by: her children, Clarence Lane, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Johnnie Ray Lane of Philadelphia, PA, Connie Batts, Janice Wade and Peggy; her siblings, Barbara Champion of Raleigh, NC and Roosevelt Dawson of Kinston, NC; her nephew Phil Gay; and her friend Dazell Pearson. She is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren.
