She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thigpen and Inez Thigpen; and her brothers, Roy Thigpen and Larry Thigpen. She is survived by: her husband Johnny L. Garris; her son Andy Garris (Martha) of Four Oaks; her granddaughter Courtney Garris Adams (Luke) of Four Oaks; and her brother Danny Thigpen of New Jersey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
