She was predeceased by: her daughter Avonna Geanne Terry; her parents, Willie Frank Brown and Lillie Mae Brown; and her siblings, Nell Dean Hatcher, Frank Vernon Brown and Reginald Lamont Brown.
She is survived by: her grandson Staccato Lucas of Wilson, NC; and her sisters, Mavis Williams (Bill) of Augusta, GA and Fannie Louise Brown of Wilson, NC. She is also survived by five nieces; one nephew; several great nieces; several great nephews; a host of other family and friends.
