It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lina Jane Joyner Bracey of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Duncan Albert Bracey, III; her parents, Vonnie Webb Joyner Taylor and Curtis R. Joyner; her stepfather Willard; and her sister Judy Dawson.
She is survived by: her children, Barrington Bracey Farley of Wilmington, Blythe Bracey White (Carter) of Washington and Duncan Albert Bracey IV (Rhonda) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Miller, Webb Farley, Dare McNamara Ernst (Philip), McLean McNamara (Samantha), Emma McNamara, Duncan V and Margaret Bracey; and her great grandchildren, Willow McNamara and Emery Ernst. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (414 Sunset Rd NW, Wilson, NC 27893). Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Clark Hall (414 Sunset Rd NW, Wilson, NC 27893). A reception was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
