With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Andrew Kilian Jr. of Wilson, North Carolina, born in Norlina, North Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Andrew Kilian, Sr. and Maude Janet Hicks Kilian; his wife Laura Burt Williams Kilian; his parents-in-law, Frederick and Alma Williams; his stepmother-in-law Mable Hayes Williams; his uncle William S Hicks (Mildred); his siblings-in-law, Beaufort Harris (Grover), Charlotte Rydquist (Carl), Elizabeth Reid (Bill) and Fred Williams (Connie); and his son-in-law Donald Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Kilian Lopez (Greg) of Wilson, Janet Kilian Denzel (Mike) of Wilson and Laura Kilian Brooks of Wilson; his sister Cheryl Kilian Hoffer (Tom); his grandchildren, Andrew Barnes (Faire), Sydney Barnes, Ellen Denzel, Michael Denzel, Sarah Denzel, Camille Brooks, Nikki Brooks Schell (Andrew) and Genna Brooks Martin (Paul); his great grandchildren, Scott, Brooks, Vivian, Lula Mae and Cora; his brothers-in-law, Leon Scull Williams (Vivian) of Inez and Robert Edgar Williams (Kathy) of Beaver Dam, VA; his cousins, Anne Weaver and Sandra Swink (Richard); his caregivers, Barbara, Iva, Wanda, Vanessa, Brenda B, Curtina, Denise and Gwen; and his nephews, Fred Harris, Charles Harris, Peter Rydquist, Craig Williams, Todd Williams, James Williams and Chris Reid.
