He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Batts Matthews; his son Kenny Matthews (Nancy Jones Matthews); his granddaughter Megan Cooke (Brian); his great grandchildren, Adilyn Grace Cooke and Sawyer Thomas Cooke; his nephew Jimmy Galloway; and his nieces, Patricia Wilkins and Debra Mills.
