It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Sharpe Barnes (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Moses Sharpe and Hazel Moore Sharpe. She is survived by: her husband Reverend David Barnes; her sons, Dave Barnes (Laura) of Kenly and Tim Barnes (Lori) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Michael Barnes (Lilly), Garrett Barnes, Kate Barnes, Tyler Barnes and Zander Barnes; and her brother Bill Sharpe (Annette). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
