She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Mack Poythress and Alma Mercer Poythress; and her brothers, Chester Poythress (Norma), Pete Poythress (Grace), Douglas Gene Poythress (Janie), William "Bill" Poythress (Elsie), Roscoe "Carroll" Poythress, Henry L. Poythress and H. M. Poythress (Jeanette).
She is survived by: her daughter Donna W. Teague of Wilson; her grandson Kevin Teague (Elizabeth) of Wilson; her sisters-in-law, Norma Davis Poythress of Sims and Doris Flowers Poythress of Wilson; and her son-in-law Kelly Teague. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
