He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Lib" Crumpler Ferrell; his daughters, Beverley Bailey (Chris) and Wendy Waddell (Greg); his son-in-law Rodney Mooring; his sister Janette Littleton; his grandchildren, Chad Mooring, C. J. Bailey (Rebecca), Lindsey Edmondson, Brittany Bailey and Rylee Edmondson; his stepgrandchild Bonny Parker (Lee); his great grandchild Mason Day; and his sister-in-law Janet Flowers. He is also survived by numerous other in-laws, nieces and nephews.
