He is survived by: his mother Gloria Bunn Mercer; his children, Stephanie Mercer (Brendan) of Wilson, Nicole Monroe (Lloyd) of Lucama and Dominic Foulkrod (Amanda) of Wilson; his stepdaughters, Nelly Driver (Will) of Wilson and Harley Johnson (Matt) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Connor Clark, Jonathan Davis, Chase Davis, Madison Davis, Carter Hurley, Ethan Hurley, Julian Johnson, Cheyenne Johnson and Avada Driver; his niece Amanda "Mandy" Page; and his sister Robin Perry (Marty).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Shingleton Funeral Home (2413 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27894). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
