It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Lee Evans of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Evans and Elizabeth Evans; his brothers, Billy and Tony Evans; and his grandchild Dillion Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Woodard Evans; his brothers, Donald (Brenda) and Bobby (Doris) of Wilson; his children, Johnny (Lisa), Beth (Mike) of Lucama, Richard (Shannon) and Randy (Paula) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Amber (Kenny) of Kenly, Brittany of Lucama, Matthew (Jamie) of Wilson, Kimberly of Lucama, Nolan of Wilson, Kensley, Parker of Wilson, Taylor (Dylan) of Pikeville and Chase of Black Creek; his great grandchildren, Andersyn and Rylan of Pikeville; and his close friend Sophia of Lucama.
