He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Glatz Jones; his parents, John James Jones and Claudia Jean Ponte; his stepfather Mario Ponte; and his half-brother Michael Ponte.
He is survived by: his stepsons, David McGilvery (Carla) and Robert Jones (Dawn); and his half-sister Carol Kubala (Paul). He is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
