He was predeceased by: his sister Margie Turner of Lucama; his parents, Luther Taylor and Callie Smith Taylor; and his grandmothers, Boswell, Shirley Godwin, Janice Barnes and Doris Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Gale Renfrow Stancil Taylor; his daughters, Brigitte Taylor and Teresa Taylor of Wilmington; his stepsons, David Anthony Stancil (Tabatha) of Selma and Terry Todd Stancil of Selma; and his stepgrandchildren, Josh, Tristan, Evander Zac and Skylar.
