It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Earl Scott Sr. (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Zura Mae Joyner Scott; his parents, Paul Scott and Verda Davis Scott; his sister Paulette Williamson; his grandson Calob Dale Wilson; his sister Leslie Joyner; and his granddaughter Stacey Beamon.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy Scott, Jr. (Stephanie) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Spencer Beamon (Deanna), Brandon Scott (Andrea), Shana Creech (Terry) and Jacob Wilson (Ashlie); and his sister Sonya Stampler (Bill) of Youngsville.
