As Jim departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jim. Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, George, Delmar and Harvey; his half-brother Floyd; and his wife Alma Mozelle Woodall Boswell.
He is survived by: his children, Rev. James M. Boswell, Jr. (Elke) of Normal, IL and Debby Boswell Keller (Bobby) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by seven nephews and one niece, their children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (207 Tarboro St NE, Wilson, NC 27893). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
