He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Milton Bingle and Hazel Ann Meek; and his brothers, Vernon and Loal. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jimmie Ray Bingle Jr. of Stantonsburg, Michael Dewayne Bingle (Lisa) of Pikeville and Crystal Bingle Jordan of Princeton; his grandchildren, Joshua Allen Bingle, Cody Alan Bingle, Jimmie "Peanut" Ray Bingle III, Brayden James Jordan and Brynna Rayne Jordan; his great grandchild Alayna Bingle; and his siblings, Edward Bingle of Florida, Jack Bingle of Washington and Elsie Cecil of Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
