She was predeceased by: her father Chester Bailey; her husband Sam Amerson; and her sister Esther "Skeeter" Davis. She is survived by: her children, Sammy Amerson (Carol), Jerry Amerson (Paula) and Mark Amerson (Robin); her grandchildren, Asheton Amerson (Tracey), Michaellynn Hughes (Bryan), Heather Williams (Robert), Brandon Amerson (Paige) and Courtney Proctor (John); her great grandchildren, Tucker, Blake Amerson, Bryce, Brant, Melia Hughes, Tyler, Layne Williams and Chase Proctor; her brother Mitchell Bailey (Sylvia); her brother-in-law Lesly Davis; and her friends, Ruth-Ann "Lucy" Horton, June Pitt and Peace Church of Wilson. She is also survived by nephews and a niece.
