It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Boykin Arthur of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Boykin and Nannie Boykin; her husband H. Carroll Arthur; and her siblings, Graham Boykin, Stephen Boykin, Eva Boykin and Doris Bowden.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher A. Arthur (Sigi) and John M. Arthur (Jennifer); and her grandson Alan Michael Arthur. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Masonic Home for Children, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
